Meshtastic
Nodes
These nodes are two ESP32 with the Meshtastic software downloaded and can create a network with other nodes around the world. Each has three parts that can be 3D printed for the housing to protect it from the environment.
PIKA
Contains an easily rechargeable battery that gives the user 10-15hrs of battery life while on the go.
SKY1
Integrated with a GPS module that can assess Lat Long with an accuracy of 10 meters.
GPS
The antenna and GPS module can be used to track location and height of a user, as well as map others in respect to yourself to further understand signal strength and distance.
Coverage
With these two nodes, I was able to establish a mesh with other nodes throughout the state of Florida, creating a network for us all too communicate with in the event that cell phone towers are non operational or other emergency situations.

Homemade antenna for capturing NOAA 15,18 and 19 and tuned to 130-140mHz with the goal of covering as much of the world as possible from my station.
Small Image Approach
Images where recorded in ranges of 5-15min throughout the course of three days.
Large Image Approach
Images were recorded in ranges of 15-30min throughout the course of 6 hours.
